Why a wheel instead of a circle? The wheel feels dynamic and full of life. The circle feels linear and more narrow. In riding a horse, the principles are taught to ride from a circle of aids, (seat, legs, and hands.) The application of the aids is how we communicate with the horse, but at a finer level, the horse becomes a wheel inside his or her self. A balanced, flexible, integrative, peaceful, and willing partner that renews these qualities each step. Riding and walking in the desert has supported this growing awareness. Selfseeds through the eyes of the horse and rider.
