Weight Distribution We all weigh something, but the question is how do we organize and move our weight?
How do you move your body mass?
Do you move with your core connected?
Arms and legs swinging?
Is your alignment straight?
Sitting at a desk all day with your core unengaged and hunched upper body?
How about walking or running with your body balanced and weight moving through your feet?
Take a moment and sit down somewhere--on the floor, in a chair, sofa, etc.
Start to exaggerate your weight to one side, leaning, pulling yourself out of balance.
Now move it to the other side.
Slowly start to stand up with the exaggerated weight transfer.
Notice how it strains your joints.
