A lunch box, a few books in a backpack, and walking to school with friends used to be the norm. Now, cyber bullying, active shooter drills, and book bans are the state of public schools. Parents, teachers, and students are often stressed. The new normal is hard on our nervous system.
Most human nervous systems prefer calm, peaceful, and in harmony with the environment.
- Is there a simple solution?
- Or at least a simple reset?
- How about life skills?
The Power of Selfseeds provides 11 simple seed-experiences for self empowerment. Valuing and understanding our uniqueness will start building a foundation of harmony within, so it can be carried outward as we step into the dynamics of living.
Simple doesn’t mean less than. Simple is direct, clear, assessable, supportive, and foundational. Seeds look simple, but we know they house the present power moment.
On a personal level, The Power of Selfseeds prepares one for a healthy lifestyle, ability to face challenging situations with harmony, and solve problems with solutions supporting new ways of looking at obstacles, and innovating naturally.

Session one: Inviting and joyful to experience one's self.

- A gentle introduction of mind, body, and inner communication through seed-practices.

- Experience a perspective of ease and joy.

In this session, we’ll explore:
- Nutrition: Hydration is the most important fundamental state of living after breathing. Food types influence energy levels and how you feel
- Fitness: Exercise is fitness for living.
- Stillness: Tranquility, peace, and calmness are often associated with stillness.
- Emotions/Feelings: Sense into different emotions to experience what effects they have on your mind and body. Emotions and feelings weave in and out of your day.
Session Two: Recognize uniqueness in its beauty and not in pain.
Micro-tools for now and the future.
- Shifting self consciousness by knowing yourself.
- Sharing and learning from each other.
- Experiencing seed-experiences is fun to do and share.
- Embracing being unique. What is uniqueness?
- Examine awareness as a group in a way that we can see, voice, and be instead of judge, shame, and isolate.
- Harmonizing seed-experiences for making aligned choices.
In this session, we’ll explore:
- Weight Distribution: Alignment of weight is in sitting, standing, walking, and reclining.
- Flexibility: Flexibility is an ability to change direction in your communications. The body requires flexibility to move comfortably and in a fluid way.
- Balance: Balance is fundamental in all living movements: stepping, jumping, running, thinking, breathing etc.
- Rhythm: Rhythm is in every experience inside and outside of the body.
Session Three: Feeling comfortable with differences and why they are positive.
Sharing and learning from each other.
- Team building by understanding the uniqueness of each team member and how important diversity is for success.
- Embracing and respecting the unique qualities of every human being.
- Open conversations why people have fear and how this weaves stories that might not be useful.
- Connects easily with a diversity of events, sports, and programs--large or small groups.
- Teachers and facilitators can participate and learn individually as well as part of the group.
- Harmonizing of mind, body, and spirit/soul for ease of choices and results.
In this session, we’ll explore:
- Integration: Discover how important integration is in daily activities.
- Partnering: Environments, people, animals, and self are fundamentals of partnerships.
- Personalize 5: Living is aliveness with endless opportunities for joy.

About Your Teacher

Current living status. Steward of Horse Woods Haven (2021) (http://www.horsewoodshaven.com), 7 horses, and 2 cats. Columbia, Kentucky. Background: NATRC President’s Cup 1982, Tevis completion, University of California at Davis, CA B.S. Genetics. 35 years horse trainer (Portugal, France, Germany, Hungary…) 20 years competitive ballroom dancing, NASM sports training, 2011–renunciation of Western life and moved to Jaipur, India.
Upon returning to the West, Selfseeds felt like unfinished business on a very deep level. It had been created right before moving to India and became a living template for myself. I shared it during my global travels, but now is the time to grow it, so people have a gentle pathway to know themselves more fully as a body, mind, and inner communication. The horses will benefit greatly from this choice of dynamic, integrated self awareness.
