Integration of core, rotation, and strength

Most of us are on a schedule, so making one’s workout practical, effective, and multi-focused becomes important.  For now, my incentive for working out is to support the wellness of my body’s structure: core strength, flexibility, symmetry, lung function, and muscle use.  I am not training for an event, but I am noticing that the event is everyday life.  As I move throughout my day, I take notice of what regular functions I perform and pair exercises with them.  Currently, I am doing a lot of sitting cross-legged, so strengthening  my upper back has helped with straightness for long periods of time.  On the flip side of that, I always include rotational movements, (crossing the body axis), cross coordination, and trunk based repetitions, so my body stays awake and dynamic.  I want my body to have to think while working out.  Constantly making new exercises up using weights and the machines at the gym–playing like a child on an adult jungle gym.
