Selfseeds Consultation In Action
Cathy is a very busy person in the business world as a Director of Finance in one of the Sonoma County Cities. Â In addition, she is married and has 4 horses that she trains and cares for on a daily basis. Â Part of the challenge is the number of hours she works and that a lot of those hours are spent sitting. Â Her hobby of riding/training requires a certain level of fitness, balance, integration, and flexibility. Â Selfseeds is a natural fit for someone with the desire to be effective and stay connected to many threads in the tapestry of one’s life. Â She has joined the gym and is addressing her fitness. Â She already includes partnering and rhythm in her daily horse practice. Â Her mornings include inner stillness with 5 minutes for meditating/grounding.
She was getting frustrated with not satisfying her Personalized 5 Selfseeds touch in on a regular basis, so we added in 5-15 minutes of groundwork with her up and coming young horse when she is feeding in the morning, (or with one of the other horses.)  With the combination of sitting a lot and an old serious injury to her spine, we decided adding the “I” Band into the daily practice would make the most sense.  It will help remind her about posture, flexibility, toning, stretching, and how the breath is moving through her body as a check in with her body, since her job requires  her to be in her head a lot.  We will start with two Selfseeds and see how it feeds into her very hectic schedule.  When people are busy, they are often juggling instead of balancing.
