Selfseeds Stillness

🌱 Stillness

“The silence inside you is not empty. It is full.”

🧘 The Feel of the Seed

Stillness isn’t stopping—it’s returning.
It’s the quiet space where you meet yourself,
without needing to fix or perform.
It lives between breaths, behind thoughts,
and inside every pause.
Stillness is presence without pressure.

🌾 The Practice

Try this:
Close your eyes.
Notice what’s already still—your hands, your breath, a quiet corner of thought.
Set a timer for 1 minute.
No goal. No effort. Just be.
Let your body rest. Let your mind wander. Let stillness arrive.

🗣️ Guiding Whisper

“What if you could stop… and still be enough?”

🌼 Seed Reflection

Stillness isn’t escape.
It’s a place of quiet return.
Where your body resets.
Where emotions soften.
Where clarity begins.

Sometimes it’s sipping tea.
Sometimes it’s closing your eyes for 10 seconds.
Sometimes it’s simply not filling the silence.

Stillness doesn’t need time.
It needs permission.

🌀 From This Seed, Other Paths Open

  • Emotions become clearer
  • Weight Distribution becomes grounded awareness
  • Rhythm emerges from the inside

The seeds don’t compete—they co-regulate.

✿ FIVE FIELDS

1. Everyday Living

Stillness lives in small moments:

  • A deep breath before a choice
  • A pause in conversation
  • A quiet sip of tea

“Slow the race. Find your sacred space.”

2. Children & Parents

🌲 Meet Forrest the Redwood!
“Hi, I’m Forrest. Let’s practice growing still and listening inside.”

  • Tree Breathing: Root your feet. Breathe like a tree.
  • Quiet Game: Listen for the softest sound.
  • Soft Eyes: See without staring.

Parent Note: Stillness helps children attune to their inner world. Start with seconds, not minutes.

3. Athletics

Stillness is where recovery happens.

  • Between drills and after training
  • Where effort becomes integration
  • Where clarity deepens

“Without the pause, there is no game.”

4. Grief & Change

Stillness holds what words cannot.

  • Sit with your ache.
  • Let your breath move for you.
  • Do nothing. Just be.

“In silence, sorrow breathes. Stillness becomes sacred.”

5. Kin (Animal Companions)

Animals rest without guilt.

  • A cat in the sun
  • A dog curled nearby
  • A horse standing soft and present

“In your stillness, I find mine.”

🌾 Final Reflection

Try a 1-minute stillness practice today.
No fixing. No thinking.
Just presence.
Let your body remind you:
You were never separate from peace.
